What confidentiality do I have

All calls are made on the Lingua mobile application platform. Any breach of T’s & C’s will be investigated, the accounts will be blocked for any service provider or end user committing breach of policy or codes practice until resolved.

Are the translators trusted and are they qualified

All the service providers (freelance translators) who register for translation services will be required to upload their qualifications, we also review feedback and analyse their ratings based on the minutes/hours of service. When filter through the data and will remove them off the platform if they drop below certain expectations.

Are your interpreters trained in our industry terminology

all interpreters must upload a bachelor degree or equivalent. if they will be interpreting in any specialist field of public services E.g. law, medical, business etc. If however they are providing their bilingual skill's of speaking multiple languages to the general public in the leisure, travel business and general enquiries this will not be required. Please check the profile of the service provider you wish to use before making a call.

How do i find interpreter

Finding an interpreter is simple, select your spoken language in search field 1 and the language you wish to interpret it to in the second field, then select the field of specialty select continue, from there you can either zoom out of the map to find them by location or select on the bottom NOW/LATER to see the list of results whereby you can read each profile.

If an interpreter/a translator is online with live selected on their profile you can connect instantly, their status (online/offline) will be displayed on their profile, if however you wish to book an appointment in advance you can book on the calendar of your chosen agent and await their response if they accept the booking or decline you will be informed via the app.

what do I need to take into account

A few points you must take into account are, is the translator a native speaker by origin, do they speak the same dialect of the desired language and do they also specialize in the field of discussion. E.G can they interpret medical terminology in both languages or rewrite an electrical circuit board to accurate specification.

I need an interpreter’s name to complain. How do I get it

All registered members information will be found on their profile. After a call you will receive a PDF receipt which has a unique reference if you quote this when writing to us we will be able to locate the User.
